…yes, indeed, receiving that camera changed everything. It flipped a switch from unbearable loss to a sense of purpose.

Have a listen to my interview on the Blog Talk Radio show, Snap Out of It! Fascinating Women who Defy Death, Disease and Depression with DeDe Murcer Moffett.

So, what pulls you out of your darkness??

“If you can’t fly, then run
If you can’t run, then walk.
If you can’t walk, then crawl.
But whatever you do keep moving.”

  1. Love the photograph, the stimulus thought and the whole feel of your blog. Simplicity – both powerful and emotional.

  2. You’re a brave woman to be so open about your experience and your feelings. I bet you helped someone listening.  Enjoyed the way you held your own with the interviewer, didn’t let her put words in your mouth and asked her questions.  Made for a lively exchange of ideas.  You’re getting good at this interviewing stuff.

  3. Shana, great blog and wonderful art!  Thank you for being on the show and inspiring others!  I’m connected with you on twitter and face book so I will be following your work!
